Uploading your school certificate

For grade 10-11 students, in order to successfully apply to a foreign university, you need to have your certificate (if available) and report card for grades 10-11 translated into English by an official document translator. If you do not have a certificate, you need to translate the report card for 10th grade (with the title page and grades) and the report card for 11th grade (with the grades you already have at the time of application).

English translation

Translation into English can be done by international centers, language schools, translation agencies or translation bureaus. There are such places even in small towns.

Document verification

Some universities may require a notarized translation of the certificate or an apostille. An apostille can be issued at the Education Department or MFC.

Document scans

Scan all pages of your certificate and report card into PDF format. The electronic format will allow you to easily upload documents and keep the information safe.

Upload

When applying to a university abroad, upload scanned copies of your certificate, report cards and their translations in PDF format to the designated platform or university website. Make sure you follow the university’s instructions for uploading documents.
