University of Luxembourg’s Scholarship for International Master’s Students

The University of Luxembourg was founded in 2003. In a cosmopolitan and multilingual setting, students from over 125 countries study with financial support available for master’s students. The university has quickly gained a great international reputation due to its innovative programs and academic atmosphere.

International Master’s students receive a monthly allowance of 500 euros for the duration of the 10-month academic year. Scholarship recipients are provided with free dormitory accommodation.

Note: This scholarship cannot be combined with any other grant funded by the Luxembourg government.

Criteria

The applicant must be studying in a master’s program and have exceptional academic performance.

Required Application Materials
  • Photograph of passport size
  • 1 copy of an ID or passport
  • 1 copy of the European Health Insurance Card
  • One copy of the university diploma with transcripts
  • Transcripts of all grades obtained during the bachelor’s degree
  • 1 copy of the validation or accreditation of the degree

  • Motivational essay
  • Detailed biographical note
  • 1 recommendation letter
